During the severe winter of 2010-2011, many clients were caught off guard from a budgetary perspective. Our management team meet with clients to brainstorm for creative solution to get them the snow and ice protection they needed while meeting their budget needs.
One such client, A major tire distrubutor has a large expansive loading area for semi trucks. The areas needed to be treated for ice formation during each event however it was growing cost prohibitive.
While meeting with them, we suggested the idea of our firm assisting them to setup their existing onsite equipment with ice-melt spreaders. Then we would deliver them the needed ice-melt in advance of each storm, and their onsite staff could apply it as needed.
The tire distrubutor's management team was receptive to the idea. The following week, our in-house technicians fitted their onsite utility vehicle with the same type of spreaders our trucks use, we then began delivering them the needed ice melt in advance.
This arrangement ended up saving distrubutor thousands on their snow and ice costs, and further solidified our partnership with them, meeting their budget needs, while providing them with a full scope of outdoor services.
